New build extension and internal refurbishment to provide new toilet facilities and rear access to the school. The works were carried out during term time in a live school environment.

As a large portion of the scheme was to be carried out during term time, a segregation strategy was required to minimise interface with the end user or general public. After consultation with the end user prior to undertaking the works, we ensured that any segregation and phasing of the works was agreed prior to commencement. We had to work around restricted delivery times with vehicles having to access through the school play grounds to the working areas. It was essential that all vehicles adhered to the time restrictions imposed to prevent contact with pupils, staff or general public.
